Prohibition against holding Land.

XXXVIII. No Company that is not for the Time being carrying on a Trade or Business having Gain for it s Object shall be entitled, without the Sanction of the Board of Trade, to hold more than Two Acres of Land, but the Board of Trade may empower any such Company to hold Lands in such Quantity and subject to such Conditions as they think fit, and may for that Purpose grant a Licence in the Form marked G. in the Schedule hereto, or to the like Effect.
