I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 4 of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (No. 19 of 2022) and the Integration and Reception (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 159 of 2025 ) (as adapted by the Justice (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 (S.I. No. 242 of 2025)), following consultation with the Minister for Social Protection and the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation (as adapted by the Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 243 of 2025 )) and considering the date specified in the following order appropriate having regard to the matter specified in subsection (3) of that section, hereby make the following order, with respect to which, pursuant to subsection (4) of that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (Section 4(2)) (Scheme Termination Date) Order 2026. | ||
2. The date referred to in the definition of “scheme termination date” in section 4 (1) of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (No. 19 of 2022) shall be 31 March 2027. | ||
