S.I. No. 368/2025 - Agriculture, Food and the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 29th July, 2025.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Agriculture, Food and the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2025.

2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine conferred on him –

(a) by or under the enactments specified in Part 1 of the Schedule,

(b) by or under the provisions of the enactments specified in Part 2 of the Schedule, and

(c) under the Regulations specified in Part 3 of the Schedule,

are delegated to Timmy Dooley, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

Foreshore Act 1933 (No. 12 of 1933), other than section 13A(4)

Sea Fisheries Act 1952 (No. 7 of 1952)

Fishery Harbour Centres Act 1968 (No. 18 of 1968)

Marine Institute Act 1991 (No. 2 of 1991), other than section 4A

Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1997 (No. 23 of 1997)

Sea Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006)

Part 2 of the Maritime Safety Act 2005 (No. 11 of 2005) in so far as that Part relates to a fishery harbour centre (within the meaning of that Act)
