XVIII. Provided That no such Affidavit shall be used against any Person making the same in any Proceeding whatever, except only in any Inquiry as to the Stamp Duty with which such Deed or Instrument is chargeable, and every such Person shall, upon Payment of such lull Stamp Duty as aforesaid, be relieved from any Penalty, Forfeiture, or Disability he may have incurred by reason of the Omission to state truly in such Deed or Instrument any of the Facts, Matters, and Things aforesaid.
